Welcome,
The m939 trucks are plentiful and a good value right now. I would just find the cargo truck. Then you can cut down the bed and have a nice looking bobber. Then you will also realize you need the full size version also. One truck is never enough. Good luck. Ted
The answer is in your quote. There is nothing wrong with a "proper" rebuild. Proper means honing and measuring the cylinders. Making sure that it is right Not just putting a kit in. If a person has the ability and the tools to do this correctly then it a good and less expensive way to get your...
I wouldn't want to lower the trailer with shorter tires/wheels. The beauty of the 101 is its ability to dump. If you get it too low it wont tilt as far.

We like to put the smaller jeep heaters under the dash in our trucks. It keeps the engine area clean and easier to work on. You can find these for less than $100.00 usually and they work great. Also I think there is a winch on c-list in Cincy for about $1500.00. Also if you want a cheaper top...
Check the grounds for the headlights. Dirty grounds cause high resistance which makes for higher current draw. Even if they look good I would take them off and clean the mating surfaces. Good luck to you.
There are locking differentials out there. Detroit makes one, so do several other companies I have used Yukon Grizzly lockers in deuces and they are wonderful. They run around 500.00 or so and up.
I still have to go back to the grounds and not just the battery cable ground. Did you take the grounds off and clean then retighten them? If not you should. Thats the only way to know for sure if the ground is good. Use the wiring diagram and make sure you hit all the grounds.
Good answer. This should keep the Dogs at bay for a while. :doghead:
Knowing the -10TM is the most important thing you can do for your truck. It will also keep your frustration level to a minimum
