i can ask about getting some air filter's we have some AVLB's around here were i live. I'll see if i can give one of the mech heads a shout out to get a few...i can allways get random tank stuff m60's more then anything..
a small boat is all i pull with it and i used welding rods for welding armor plate, its a seamless bead all the way around the reciever i jacked the rear end up the truck up from the drop down to load test it, and it didn't move at all.. but i still woulnt pull more then a 5,000 pound load...
yup that be a tow bar holder I've seen them on truck's before a well as a big bolt head welded to the bumper with a 4 inch round steel plate washer that gos over one end with a big wing nut to secure the front of the tow bar and the legs rest on a welded on or bolt on section of angel iron...
pm me if you need top plates i can more then likely get at least 3 of them if not make some they are easy for me to make... 20 buck plus cost of shiping i think i can get one in a flat rate box to make it cheap...:)
we are takeing most of the collection of armor with when we move we are all ready hett'ing stuff down every monday i'll make take some good pic's as well as the new armor cav museum will be 3 times larger then the current patton patton museum.
well i got the same deal i took the paper work down to the clerks office she started the whole process then she told me to bring the truck to have it inpected did that paid $120$ all done got active duty plates and everything lol!
its okay this morning i saw the effects on a small toyoya 4 door car V.S. a stryker m1127 the lady was fine but the whole right side of her car was peeled open in one nice line right below the window line she must have just barrly hit the rim's and step up parts of them
