If it still made the hissing sound when you pulled the oil plug I bet the vent is still clogged. It may be pushing oil past your seals.

I found that if you stuff a little foam into the back window sill it stops a bunch of rattle. Took me a while to go through and tighten everything up.

1. Will it still combust? 2. Is there no water in it? 3. Can you filter it? If yes to those 3, then a deuce will gobble it up.

Those 5 ton gassers may suck fuel but they sound awesome and have legendary torque.
