I just got a warning for this thread???
I am just asking about the differences between the 2. Should I not have mentioned the *******? I didn't say where or what auction.
???
Anyhow, thanks for the replies guys.
Ok, I did a bit more research, and holy crap-it's huge! From what I read, you can't even drive it on a freeway w/o a wide load permit. I'd love to see a picture of a 920 next to the 1070.
I haven't seen a picture of them together. Looking at the specs, I can see that the hett has about double the cap as the 920. What about the running gear and other stuff?
I'm curious about the main differences between it and an m920. It looks to seat 5-6 in the cab, which is a plus. It's also an 8x8 vs a 6x8.
What else is different?
Thanks. I was stopped in the airport once, but it was a mistake, so I should be good:)
Maybe the lady was just trying to shock me when she said 60 days. I really love the 920, and if I had 50 acres to turn it around, that would be mine pick. I can only imagine what my neighbors are going to...
I have a vision that includes pulling the box off a fire crew transport and mounting it behind the cab. I have 4 kids, so I gotta bring them too.
Our toy hauler is a 34' bumper pull, so I don't need the 5th wheel plate.
I read about converting from 24 to 12vdc, and I'll need to do that for...
I'm looking at my first MV and have been looking at the 925A2, 932A2, 916 and 920.
I plan to tow our 17k toy hauler to the desert and back. I also want to use it for road trips.
What ever I end up with, I will end up mounting 16.00s for better freeway speeds.
Here are my questions.
How...
How realistic is it to try and drive a truck off the base and home if you win an auction?
I've been looking at trucks out of state, and have been focusing on trucks that run.
I'd like to drive it back home, but it wouldn't be registered and I also don't have a class A license.
What's the worst...
