    Deuce vs neon

I don't know about yours, but my camo is three color, green, black and brown, NOT asphault grey, or concrete white. Now, if the Deuce were out in the woods, and some hunter missed a "deer" and shot the truck, I'd understand (except for the bad aim...) No excuse in an urban setting.

    Daughter recovering M109 Van.... Help?

Vibrated loose is exactly what seems to have happened. Jamb nut added, and I also added a thread-loc type compound (I don't remember the actual name of the compound I used)

    Daughter recovering M109 Van.... Help?

She's ornery, my baby is. I needed a third hand, so I called in a buddy, since Steven was still at work. I get off the phone, he's on his way, and I get the bolts to break loose. We're working on getting the brake line installed, tire side, which, given clearance (none) and the hose's...

Official 2010 SS Ga Rally Info thread

Ok, brain fart, what's the plan for Wednesday? I can make an industrial sized batch of chicken stew that can be thrown on a burner for general traveler's fare. Wreckerman, do you know when you'll head through ATL Wednesday? I can slide into the convoy here. Oh, and a thought for KP, since...

Official 2010 SS Ga Rally Info thread

OK, so I'm trying to get through the list, but still on page 41..... Anyway, plans changed, dates shifted, and I should be able to go. The current plan is for me to be heading down on Wednesday. I can flip French toast.....

Kennesaw Mtn GA MVPA Show and Swap Meet

Being sunburned Friday at the gathering, I had to spend a fair amount of time reassuring folks that I had NOT gotten that flushed Saturday, and told them where I spent my time. NO-ONE in the historical group who lived in Kennesaw, Marrietta, or Atlanta knew about the gathering. One friend...

Kennesaw Mtn GA MVPA Show and Swap Meet

Friday was kinda quiet, but the guys have said that's normal. Saturday is generally more than double Friday. I won't be able to be there Saturday though.

Kennesaw Mtn GA MVPA Show and Swap Meet

Oh, and right in town is about the truth. I'm within 6 miles of the museum. So how early is this getting started tomorrow?

Kennesaw Mtn GA MVPA Show and Swap Meet

I understand. But I have another obligation that's going to have me out of town on Saturday, and the repair part won't be in on Friday. I did give it a day to see if anyone would say they'd have a line for sale before ordering it, but I was too itchy to get the parts in route to give it any...

Kennesaw Mtn GA MVPA Show and Swap Meet

Went in with the Parts manual, but my local Napa couldn't figure it out, so I'm ordering from Memphis equipment. Napa would have had to order it in anyway, so that doesn't make much difference. I should have the line soon, but not in time to fix her for the get together. So I'll be hoofing...

Kennesaw Mtn GA MVPA Show and Swap Meet

Dad mentioned Napa, but I'd rather send the business to someone in the "family" if possible. Though, if the swap weren't this weekend, I'd be at Napa already. If I have to go that route, how would I identify her to Napa? If I said M109A3, would they have a clue?

Kennesaw Mtn GA MVPA Show and Swap Meet

I've just gotten done pulling the wheel, and diagnosing. It's the brake line that cut loose. So, any parts dealers going to be at the show and swap? Dad mentioned Taylor Equipment being possible attendees, but I'm sure there have to be more around. It's a 19 inch front brake line that's...

Kennesaw Mtn GA MVPA Show and Swap Meet

I'm tearing into her tomorrow to try to find out where she's spitting out her fluids. I should know more tomorrow afternoon, hopefully.

    Daughter recovering M109 Van.... Help?

Well, I made it home... A very comfortable, and uneventful 20 hour drive, over two days. Thanks to everyone that was on-call for any issues. And NOW the brakes go out. Parking brake Friday, Hydrolic this morning. Good part is she decided to get ornery while parked in front of my house, and...

Kennesaw Mtn GA MVPA Show and Swap Meet

Well, I WOULD be there Friday, but it seems my new baby (M109) has other plans. I just finished the 20 hour trip from the Iowa border to Kennesaw on Friday. And now I have a massive puddle of break fluid at the left front tire. At least it was parked, filling the air tanks when it let go...
