So get this.... Guy at work just handed me 2 Deuce TM's today for FREE. He gave me the 361-10 and the 361-20. Also claims he might be able to get me a hard top!! :jumpin:

To be, or not to be...
oh wait sorry... wrong phrase ;-)

CUCV's have a resistor bank on the firewall for reducing the 24v to 12v for the glow plug system. This we done (in theory) to balance the load of the glow plug system accross both batteries. But in doing...

Well, since the forum crash, I closed the deal on my M37. We traded a paint job on a M1008 for it. Seemed pretty fair to me!! Its not in the best shape, will certainly need some body work. My first order of business with it is to replace the missing throttle linkage. It is missing the part...
Has anyone considered putting an intercooler in their deuce? After turning my fuel up the other day, I got to thinking, maybe if I cooled the air going into the engine better, i could safely get more power out of it. Any thoughts on this? I see ebay has tons of intercoolers that could...
ok, so helping a fellow member try and diagnose an electrical problem, I noticed something in the wiring diagrams. Diagram E-11 for the STE-ICE connector shows a 'TACH BUFFER MODULE' which seems to have a signal from GEN 1, along with a couple other wires leading to it. Anyone know if there is...
Be very careful plugging things into the fusebox on the CUCV. I was changing my flasher today as everytime I put a trailer on, they blinked really fast. So while I was doing that.... I knocked the memory wire out for my stereo. I wasnt paying attention, and plugged it into what appears to be...
Spent the better part of the day today trying to design and make a hitch for my M1009. I had wanted something bolt on, and wanted to make sure it was strong enough. I had a 'factory' setup off a civvy blazer, but that wasn't going to work quite right with the way the military bumper/hitch...
So I figured it was time to change my fuel filter today, as I had yet to do it since I bought it, and was unsure if Brian had changed it (jump in here Brian and let me know). I figured that it would be a pretty quick thing to do, so I didnt really plan much time for it. Pop the bails, and pull...
I have the chance to help a friend purchase an M812. It is not running, but has an engine in 'the can' for it. It has the front winch, and looks pretty complete.
couple of questions
what is a fair price for such a beast?
what are the bed dimensions? (he wants to make a flatbed/dump...
A friend of mine has a brand new M1008 14bolt rear axle that he wants to sell. What do you guys estimate its value? I am figureing we will ebay it, unless someone here needs it.

I finally got rid of the white on my M1009....
Even though I used the infamous Aervoe paint, it turned out quite well. We got it done just in time for Memorial day.
