Oh yeah! I will always remember my first love. Exciting times!
My top tore up front like yours on my way to a Ga. rally. I found that a high quality duct tape works wonders.
Cross stitch it and use multiple layers and you should make it to the house ok. It's no fun when it rips apart going down...
Thanks Lloyd, that pretty much so rules out any shipping on my behalf. Frank, thanks to you as well. I guess I forgot who Chief said he bought it from, but I was sure it was a SSer.
I bought a trailer with two gen sets on it just for that tank. Didn't need it, but I heard they were rare and I had a little extra cash. Bought it from Chief, and I may be wrong, but he might have gotten it from Frank above.
One is going to be available soon. The trailer one looks clean and...
For those of you who never met him, Tigger, Mathew, was the kind of person that exemplified exactly what Steel Soldiers and the Georgia RAlly is all about. My wife Joyce liked him as well.
His unselfish giving and charitable work efforts here and elsewhere, where he was always there for us, even...
A lower pressure then 60 psi cause the tires to buldge?
You got about two extra tons in that 3/4 ton trailer.
Nobody needs 60psi in a small trailer tire. It's overinflated.
I ask some dumb questions to some of you fella's I guess.
What do you use these on, and how, or what do you strap them to? An example would be good. I don't usually tow anything unless it is a stock military trailer behind a deuce or M-37. They all have lights, as you know.
Fantastic work...
Ron, if you get that job, YOU HAVE JUST GOT TO TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES, and update us every four hours. What a blast that would be to keep up with your journey.
Contact Ron, he might fix it and drive it there for a plane ticket back home. He does love to drive. He is in the Atlanta Area.
87M819 or something like that.
I usually take pictures if I take the time to drive up and screen.
People, bring your cameras. It might save you from this happening to you. I have had stuff come up missing when I picked up, but always had pictures and GL has always made it right because of it.
I'm surprised the MBUs were not...
If you purchase a pin extraction tool of the correct size for your pins, be sure to get a metal one. The plastic ones will break, especially if you are inexperienced. It is a delicate procedure, even with the correct tool.
If you use the wrong tool, there is a fairly good chance you will ruin...
Must be, cause it looks like a deuce to me, X 2.
The guy in Ron's shirt and Ron's green hat in the background is Swiss. They changed shirts. They do that sometimes cause they think they're Brothers!:-P
PB,
The State DMV will have a contractor in place on contract to handle all that.
Very, very unlikely they are going to allow someone to come in and touch their software. Software guru's are VERY sensitive about those kinds of things.
Congratulations to Steven and Dave and all those involved...
Figures. I just read your thread Phil. You went right by the house. I'm in Fla. now but if home and I knew, Joyce and I would have had a hot meal for ya. Glad it all went well.
If I could have got it running, I would have drove it too. My ore checks might have been different, especially if hitting the interstate. We all learn as we go. If it broke down along the way, then I would pay for a haul, not just for the sake of throwing away money.
His machine would break...
Those trailers were one of the best deals I have ever seen come out of California. Average price of about $150 I believe, before fees. OUtstanding.
I would just remove the wheels and small parts like landing gear, wiring and lights, and scrap one of them locally. You could use the gas money...

I wouldn't want to pay more then $200 for a 50 year old radiator. The new ones are so much better. It might appeal to the purists.
If you had shown pictures and it looks really nice with no dents in the radiator fins, you can ask for more.
