Upper left corner of left side of engine block will be the serial number of the engine. If military it should start with or at least contain T245 somewhere in it.
Also ,if military the oil filler neck and dipstick tube will be screwed into the block. If pressed in, then its either a civilian...
Dumb question: How do you get the shelter into the bed of the truck. Are there jack legs such as those on a civy truck camper, or is a crane hoist needed?
Sir you are an fine example of an ignorant hillbilly! You speak of us Yankees as though we are the scum of the earth, yet have you ever met a "yankee" and gotten to know one, to even form an educated opinion? I guess I can use the word "educated" in your case very loosely. You are clearly...
Oh yeah, mine beats the crap outta me too. Mine also has no chains and sometimes just pushes the snow more than throws it. But, when I see my neighbor stooping over lifting those heavy shovels full of snow and bending with each lift, I am glad that I have the snowblower. And I always offer to do...
Carter;
I hear you about the extra time it takes. Although I have no plow, I do have a snowblower, and it seems I am out there longer than my one neighbor who just uses a shovel. But then again, he's more than likely bedridden right now from all the lifting.
I always use the snowblower for...
Its really sad when lowlife neighbors can get the local politico wheels turning over nothing more than what they perceive as an "eye sore". Well dumbass, you look at the sun and it hurts your eyes, what do you do? You look somewhere else!!!!!
I can understand a neighbor complaining if there...
Not exactly sure where Rothsville is, but Lititz I'm familiar with. I drive up rte 501 through Lititz on my way to schuylkill county where I go deer hunting, and also go through Lititz on my way to the pilot shop at the Lancaster cty airport.
Aberdeen
Kevin;
I'm good. Glad to hear from you man. How've you been doing? Right now I am planning on attending the show on Friday and probably Saturday, but that may change to Thurs/Fri as I did last year. My kids were excited because I let them stay home from school on the Friday I...
Covered Bridge....
MaxM37;
Where was that covered bridge? Looks just like the one over Brandywine creek on Smithbridge road not too far from me......
I know of three other covered bridges in my area. Gotta love that sound when you drive over the ones with the perpendicular road...
Snow
Yeah they put that brine crap down on our roads ahead of time to, however they only use it on the state owned main roads. The local townships only use rock salt on their roads. If I stick to the back roads(which is the plan) I will only have to deal with the regular salt residue, however...
Anyone else planning on taking their M37 out in the snow tomorrow? This is one of those few storms where we can get out before the salt trucks and play without fear of the truck getting loaded up with salt. I need to test out my homemade defroster unit so I am getting excited to take the truck out.
This guy is selling some tires/ rims. Don't know if it will help your situation but its worth a shot.

Here's another guy. I realize they may be on the wrong coast but its an option anyway...
People like that have a disease. Its called Hoarding! ever watch those Hoarding shows. The people are nutcases. Yeah this guy may have saved these planes from the wrecker, but what good are they if he won't sell and lets them rot? I get disgusted watching that show American Pickers for the same...
I disagree with you on the M37. Although my M37 is a play toy to me, it very well could be made into a daily driver if I did a little more work to it. I prefer it to be a fun driver though. As to practicality, I'm sorry but you can't even compare an M274 to an M37. With my M37 I can haul a large...
I could see you getting hassled if you had the truck parked on a public street for months on end without any tags, but in your own driveway? Its on your own property for Christ's sake.
My dad had a 67 ford fairlane when I was young that he had parked on the street without tags and he did get a...
No no, even better......"I have plans for that truck......gonna restore it"..........Yeah right, roll by there 5 years from now, and it'll be in the same spot, only tires will be flat and it'll be 3 inches deeper in the mud.
Filler neck...
I had hoped I wouldn't have to disassemble the filler neck, but I had thought of that. Will attempt in the spring when it warms up I guess. I about froze my fingers off farting around with that thing yesterday.
