How much fuel is in the tank? It has 2 hours on the clock which is an indication that it really hasn’t ran from the start being a 1994. Or ran and put in the corner at the reserve station. Take off the tank and clean, go through the fuel pump and all lines. This is a tank I just cut the bottom...
Yes I figured that out this morning. And the Ct I suspect is for the ammeter/percentage meter. I am getting a crash course in electronics. I can change an outlet but anything more is Greek to me. I did follow the electrical schematics from kloppk and trouble shot the control box. I suspect my ct...
I am struggling with this ammeter. I took off the box with the main lugs and checked all the connections on the ct, rotary switch etc. i found a loose connection on the main breaker and a couple other connections that i tweeked. From where does the ammeter pick up its signal? from the CT but...
Switches are in correct positions. L1-L3 phase1 . Getting proper ac voltage on multi meter but gauge isn’t moving. Can I hook digital gauge to the wires going to m5?
I would like to share my experience and how i cleaned out the fuel systems on my new to me 002 and 003.
I started with removing the fuel tanks and cleaning them out to discover slime, tar, rust and goo..I put them off to the side and ran the suction and outlet fuel lines into a clean white...
I Had a high AC voltage issue with my 003a after resurrecting it from the scrap heap, so i contacted @KKlop (member here) and within days of ordering the VR it was at my house..Now my 003 is back to normal for voltage putting out 236vac on l1-l3.
Now i cannot get gauge m4 or m5 to work..I...
I would love to but the prices are a little out of my budget. If my aluminum welding skills were better I would attempt to build tanks myself. Although I would probably be pretty good after the first tank
I am leaning towards cutting out the bottom and welding in a new piece..the wifey isn't the happiest parking outside because 3 -003a are in her side of the garage..LOL
I have one tank that has a coating that is bubbling and lifting, probably from the degreaser i had to use to get out the tar in...
the bottom of the 3 tanks have rust holes. One tank has multiple rust holes. I can weld patch holes but I am thinking that one hole leads to more down the line
Has anyone had any luck finding a plastic tank replacement for a 002 or 003 generator? Or a suitable replacement that is reasonable? I was going to cut the bottom out of the tanks i have and weld a new bottom on if i can't find anything that will work, but it might be a PITA.
