    What trailer is this?

It won't carry the weight or size of a Hmmwv.

There is a wiring guy here that makes new looms to original specs. I'll see who it is and post that.

Headlight voltage for m800 series trucks

I vote no for LED's. Vote yes for 7" H4 housings with 80/100W halogen lamps.

2008 M1078 A1R Maryland to California or Bust!

In a convoy, one has the support of many vehicles with supplies and assistance. Running on highways by yourself, you are at the mercy of cops, towing guys, and your own talents and abilities. Plan well, young man. It pays.

I wouldn't change a thing from original, unless stupid laws require it. A good alternative to messing up the truck with extra lighting is to make up a light bar that plugs into the trailer recep and hangs on the bumper only when driving on pavement.

2008 M1078 A1R Maryland to California or Bust!

From your photo, I don't think you have near enough stuff to take along. My lists, no matter what I thought could happen, was never comprehensive enough. (From a veteran of many looong trips in tacticals.)

Essentially one taillight on the driver's side. Only blackout functions on the passenger side. Vehicle signals visibility wasn't a big deal in WW2.

    ID request for broken component

    Yep. Ring mount, that is.

    Fuel tank sender

As far as I know, all the 24V tactical fuel gages are identical. This also make an unobtanium sender easier to source, usually by altering the float geometry.

Front Axle Service - Ball and Claw Axles

In the past, someone worked on your truck and didn't have the whole idea how. It is simply amazing what we find done to ex-mil trucks & equipment. Put it right, and it will last a long time.

How do you move your generator(s)?

I'd pay to have seen you as a child...

    Bad day for an M52A1

The Mack-powered G744 production run gave the military the best 5-tons ever. Not to mention double the MPG over the gassers. Never the niggling things with the Multis. Some will disagree, and for most of them, their entire 5-ton experience began with the 900's. In stock configuration, the...

    Questions about Title Transfer

Horseless Carriage plates usually have a cutoff date in the 1920's. Historic Vehicle plates usually are for any vehicle over 25 years of age. In most states, that is.

    Questions about Title Transfer

If you have a choice, try to stay with the 'historic vehicle' (or whatever they call it) type registration. Much easier on the nerves & wallet. IN AZ, that type of plate can completely eliminate the commercial requirements. Such as Weight: 00000, NO CDL, eTc.

    M37 but not an M37?

    Has it been repowered?

    M37 door windows

There are metal channels to hold flanged rubber weatherseals, L, R. and top for both doors. One is on the windshield, the others are on the top. Are yours missing, or replaced with something incorrect? Pix would help here...

    BDGR's XM757 Rebuild Thread

I remember when these were in service. The local units called the Gama Goat a "Baby Goat", the 656-767 were "Mama Goats".
