The glacier has finally receded around here so I was able to get some numbers for you.
The M-35 wheel and tire I measured shows : from the bolt face to the outside of rim --10 and 5/8 inch
From bolt face to the edge of inflated tire--- 11 and 1/4 inch
Measuring a CCKW/ G-506 wheel---8 and...
About 4-5 years ago there was a fellow that had a missile for sale here locally. Looked very much like the one on here. Demilled of course, just the body and fins. Had it set up on a wheeled stand. I got outbid by a loooooonng way...……….
After seeing photos over the years of WWII Red Army...
I painted my M35 Gasser in 2008. Used Gillispie thinned 4-1 with Xylene. VERY easy and forgiving and cheap in price. I've done a lot of Acrylic Urethane base/clear in my body shop over the years and while that is VERY durable, I have been pleased with this "old tech" product as well. Difference...

She thought for a minute with a puzzled...
Thanks,
That tracked machine is a wwii era American made Cletrac M2 Medium High Speed Tractor used to move and service aircraft. VERY popular machine during the war. I was wondering if this ended up in Russia under the Lend Lease program. Have never heard or read of these being supplied in...
hhmmm, must have floated and boated--looks like boat registration marks on side.
A lot of work went into that, good work by the looks of it. Wow, that does look like fun.
You certainly would be the only one on the block with one------
Looking at the coot articulated over the rock just reminded me about one thing I seem to remember about those machines. Seems like where the front half and back half came together was a potential pinch point for hands/fingers if you didn't keep clear.
