First if your on a budget than rough country is the way to go. $700 will get you front and rear springs and all the accessory's you need to complete the project without having to purchase anything else. Pretty sweet deal! only draw back is a rough ride. A 4 inch lift should get you 35's...
I'm really happy with my 813. It's super simple to work on, parts are still easy to get. Power steering is awesome. I drove a duece once, lack of power steering made for a crappy drive.
Plus there are options to increase the power output of the 250 cummins or drop a 350 or even a 400 big...
Well I finally got the new boot on. What a pain in the butt. Don't think I got enough grease in it. It takes for ever to put grease in with a hand grease gun. Might be time to upgrade to an air grease gun.
Also to whom all it may concern. Mine has cv joints.

When I get home from work today, I'm going to turn the wheel and pry open the tear and see if I have the cv style or u-joint.

Your comment doesn't make any sense! Not removing the spindle or the axle shaft! Just fixing the knuckle boot. Per TM, after replacing knuckle boot, take out 2 screws in center of knuckle, fill with grease till it comes out.
According to several others it takes about 4 lbs of grease to fill.
Well, the old M813 blew out the knuckle seal. Well more like a 2 inch tear. Anyway, the spare's that I got do not have the zipper, do I just reuse the zippers from the old boot? Or should I just get new ones with the zipper already on them?
Also what grease should I use? TM says GAA, what...
Simp from what I have been researching, the ball is supposed to have a fuel screw on it that can be turned out. Is my research inaccurate? The forum I was reading said is was best to do it quarter turn at a time, so as not to blow up the engine.
You don't have to change the pump, the injection pumps are all the same. It's the fuel button inside the pump you need to change. I do believe most of the 250's came with a #38, change it to a #20 when you add the turbo. I did see somewhere that someone changed to a #20 without a turbo and it...
Took the wife for a ride late last night. Went to get a load of straw. Was about 20 degrees out. Wife loved the ride, loved the heated seat feature! I'm really glad she was happy! Now hopefully she will want to go with me all the time. That old seat made her hurt, she said she didn't...
