    cucv price

I paid 5k for one and drove it 50 miles home, other than fluid changes and dog head mod, only thing I have had to do to it was a brake job due to the leaking axle seals. That was 6 months and 4.5K miles ago. Will need a radiator soon as it has a pin hole leak and lots of "solder bloom". No...

    Injector question

I recently came across 8 NOS injectors, problem is 6 are Delphi and 2 are Bosh. Part numbers/NIIN's cross. Do I need to have them matched or can I just install them? I am going to start running a 50/50 mix of UMO and diesel and want a spare set to swap in when I get the coking build up.

M1009 stranded, smoke from wire, will not turn over.

If something fried the fusable link or any fuse for that matter, you need to identify it and correct it. Whatever condition blew them will continue to do so until rectified. Short across a load or to ground.

    Batteries

I have two different batteries in my 09. Been that way since before I bought it 6 months ago and it runs and works like a champ. Should I match them or just let it rock on till one fails then match them at that time.

    M1009 won't start

Do you have the right braket on the starter? Shims needed? It sounds like the starter if twisting a bit and jamming up. When you remove it and re-install, it is aligning back up for a little bit.

Long Distance Retrieval: The Hard Way

Well it sounds like you have it for action. I cant imagine that the IP will just fail on you going down the road, theyt usually wear out over time from what I can tell as opposed to a catastrophic failure. I would give it a good service of all fluids bumper to bumper (note that the brakes use...

    Yet another starter broken thread.

Well made the hour drive to Fresno and got me a nice new nose cone... But I think it is the wrong one, it has the big opening for the Bendix gear, I think that is for the manual transmision not he auto, will it work? I have read a couple threads where it was asked, but never saw a yes or no...

    Yet another starter broken thread.

Thanks Warthog, I saw those, but didn't pay to much attention as I did not have the nose cone as the problem. No luck at 3 Napa's here in the valley, foundone at an auto-electric shop 45 miles north of here for 22 bucks. Thanks again for all the help

    Yet another starter broken thread.

Its the direct drive still. If I can't track one down, I will have it welded. I have access to excellent aircraft certified welders at work, so that might be better then a new Chinese POS....
