I don't know about that, but an easy way to mask your tires is to use a deck of cards.

If you were able to set up a dial indicator on the various parts and cycle the suspension up and down - not an easy thing to pull off with big heavy truck parts - you'd be surprised at how many components were deflecting. If the geometry is set up to bind - aka interference motion - then...

It is hardly best practice to have a double panhard bar (one each way). Doing so introduces interference motion. When the suspension cycles up and down, one or more of the following is happening: the frame rails themselves are being flexed outwards and inwards, the panhard bars are flexing...

I am not sure what you mean by track bars. If you mean Panhard bars, using two - one pointing each way - will not work as all that just locks up the suspension (think a bridge truss). Or, did you mean trailing arms? (You still would need a Panhard bar.)

Would swimming pool cartridge filters work? It would be interesting to disguise your WMO setup as swimming pool stuff.

Because, unless I am mistaken, if you design it to flex you will need a flexible coupling between the cab and the back body. Unless, maybe, if you make the entire new body one unit from firewall to tailgate, and that unit itself is mounted to flex with respect to the frame.

Heath, weren't you going to come up with some sketches in one of those threads? I don't fully understand why the body could not be architected to eliminate the flex problem. If a good structure was tied into the frame, would that not solve the flex problem, at least for modest off-roading?

You are losing a lot of room with that slant back. Respectfully suggest squaring it off or adding a one or two foot observation deck to the back, just like an old time rr car. Would provide space for a spare and rain protection when using the back door.

I agree that the dimensions and lines of what you rendered would look far better.

So, is CARC the formulation and 383 the color? If so, is there a 24087 color for the CARC formulation?

I like the full-length, non-slant back rendering the best. If the new cabin were built as a stressed member, I wonder if it would add enough stiffness to the frame to counteract twisting under moderate articulation? There have been one or two recent threads along similar lines. One SS person...
