    14.00 x 20's keeping all three axles

I've been searching a little without a lot of luck, I was looking for some ideas to keep both rear axles without bobbing it. I've seen a few trucks done and love it, I guess my biggest question is what rear spring to use to make it all work.......work safely . If there are other threads I...

    the new family beater

Thanks Andrew! I did that this morning, I took the cover off to look inside, then I moved the linkage all the way forward and reverse a few times. Once I put the cover back on it runs 10x better but it idles at 1200 rpm now? I asked my dad about it and he told me he adjusted the idle screw...

    Tire size question

I have actually mounted a set of 18.00 on a set of stocks, don't worry....we were just using them for a atv trailer we built for a mobile bar/music station.
  17. Broke Down

    the new family beater

No kidding, I lucked up because all their other trucks have no winches. Hopefully this will be a fun little project, it has a leak in the brakes and I think the governor is giving me a fir because it has an erratic idle.
  18. Broke Down

    the new family beater

I have been bugging my dad to get his deuce off his hands for a while, it has just been sitting in one place for years. They have several MV's they use for high line work, I have been cruising one of their five tons around with my kids in the yard, my dad seen how much fun they were having and...

    Why a 5 ton instead of a 2.5 ton?

I've been reading this thread because I have been thinking about buying a 5 ton my dad uses to haul poles down right of ways, it's really fun to drive and the wife can actually drive it really well, but the insurance and fuel consumption might be an issue if we plan to drive it like we are planning.

    Cobra crane

I agree with AMX, nice crane Andrew!
