Anyone ever see this part broke before? Hard to make the truck move when it's in 2 gears at once.
Its part #3 on page 101 of TM 9-2520-246-34-1
Anyone have a junk trans laying around they could pull this part for me? Add in classified too.
Minneapolis Moline supplied a number of them in the 40's. All had special tags and seperate indetification numbers. Some were painted different, what ever the Govt wanted them painted.

You wouldn't be able to pass a cop with that setup around here.
You can only go up to what the manufacutrer says the GCW is. Then you must have the correct combination plate to go with it. Your total allowable would be around 23,500lbs with that combo. You might not even be legal with...
They are colored bulbs. And I think they are just portable light sets for tents and such. They have covers for the lights and dimmers and everything in the kit. Real slick. But I don't have much information on them. that's what I would like to find out too.
I have 5 of these light sets and will probably never use them. I see what they are going for on GL. Is the value because people want them or for scrap copper?
I have been thinking of getting rid of them because I doubt I will ever use them. I don't want to give them away but I don't think...
I have a 1945 JD A that I usually pull. Right on for the speed vs slow debate. I'm used to pulling slow since I have JD's.
Now some of it depends on the track too. This particular track is a power track. You usually have more traction than you know what to do with. So you have to have...
Just trying to find the weak links! Now I'm much more confident in 'using' my truck.
That would be a hike for me, but I'm game.
Nope not me. I'm out past the PGH airport almost to Ohio.
Took my truck to the truck and tractor pull Saturday night. They put me in the 8500# open diesel class as exibition. So I was up against 800+HP 4x4 diesel trucks but I had the weight advantage.
My truck is bone stock right off the GL lot. Just got antique plates on it a couple weeks ago...
Just got mine all legal. Antique plates, Haggerty Insurance. Insurance is about $100/year. Plate and all title fees ran me about $150 total one time fee. ($75-plate, 22.50 title, Notary fees, etc.) 4 pictures, no questions, right off the GL lot.
Plates and insurance restrict it to occational...
I think the 4" lift looks 100 times better than the 8" lift.
Where does it rub with the 4" lift? Could you get some pictures?
Or how about no lift? What rubs? I'd have no problem taking a saw to the body, but if there are other things that hit that arn't that easy, that's a different...
