    Inexpensive camper/utiliy box for m35a2

All the windows came from the camper I originally had in the truck. You might think about buying a 100 dollar camper to get your appliances and windows. Feel free to post up some pictures here of your progress. John

    Inexpensive camper/utiliy box for m35a2

Fixed and installed the porch light. I like the old fashion round fixture, It looks like what should be on a 1967 truck. Believe it or not this light was still working when I took it off.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

The problem with this setup is one bulb burns out and you have no flashers. If you use a HEAVY DUTY two prong thermal mechanical flasher you don't need the ground. It will blink slightly faster than stock. I had this setup on my truck for about two months and I drive my truck every day. I did...

Sudden shutdown (again) - Truck will not re-start

Just rinse the fittings with some brake clean and install, You will be fine. It comes from the outside of the line and is not a problem once they are installed.

Sudden shutdown (again) - Truck will not re-start

The rust was most likely from the fuel line. It will grind to a powder and fall into the HH head as you unscrew the line.

Found metal chips in oil, still runs great

The drain plug has a recess in it, It holds all the chips. In my case I felt something hit my finger when I pulled the plug and investigated further.

    Strange electrical issue

I'm at a loss here. If your talking about the 1972 m35a2 you should have a alternator not a generator. It would not need to be polarized. Second a couple bad cells usually won't pull down the system voltage that much with the engine running. Not unless they are shorted. I suspect that your...

    Inexpensive camper/utiliy box for m35a2

I am listening to recordings. He is still on the radio, reruns of course, He did die in the 80s. The way he teaches the complexity of the bible in a simple home spun way just clicks with me if you know what I mean.

    Inexpensive camper/utiliy box for m35a2

Started on the paint grade cabinet doors. I cut all the styles then fit together the smallest door. It became apparent that the styles would be to big for the smallest doors. So i ripped them all down to 1 1/2 inch from 2 1/2. A very easy way to build paint grade doors is by using...

    Inexpensive camper/utiliy box for m35a2

I cut in the last side window. Replaced my power inverter with a 2300/4600 watt unit. It will run the rooftop A/C. Had to make up heavier battery cables to carry the amps needed. Put an aluminium rub bar on the wall to protect the paint from the table. Cut in the speakers for my...

Found metal chips in oil, still runs great

When it died I was next to the truck as it was idling. I heard a noise just like you would expect a spring to make as it was ground up. and it died. I cannot turn the pump by hand now that it is off. There is a spring jammed in the advance unit. I don't remember if the drive gear had slots cut...

Found metal chips in oil, still runs great

Here are more pictures. It dose not show up well in the pictures but you can see where it has gouged inside the aluminum case. That is where my small chips came from. My truck seemed to run fine until the last spring came apart and the injector pump stopped working. After installing the new...
