Is it just spinning all the time or is the clutch actually engaged?
Unplug the TDM and take it for a spin. With the TDM unplugged the fan will fail to engaged. When you do this does it run hot?
If it still runs hot I would do a radiator flush and see what comes out. Have you done one lately...
Toss the keyed switch. It will cause you nothing but heartache.
You may not have burned your starter up. I would put the factory switch back in the truck and hook it back up to the battery and see what happens.

First do you have a keyed ignition? If so that’s most likely your problem.
Second, if you don’t have a keyed ignition it’s most likely your solenoid. See above and get the rebuild kit.

What are the tires doing? They may just need balancing.
You may need to add some air pressure. 40lbs seems to be a good place for most.
Also they may need replacing.

Also make sure you unhook your batteries of you are monkeying around with the electrical. If not you could cook your start box.

Have you put a volt meter on the battery and the generator to see what it’s actually putting out? If not start there.

Awesome work!
Wouldn’t it be easier to just swap on the H1 wiper arms and blades? Next to the 4l80 swap the H1 arms and blades was the best upgrade I have done. The factory setup just sucks especially if there is any mud involved.

Clean and scuff the ground at The gauge cluster as well. That’s typically the problem after the gauge going to crap.

Repair seems to be a no go. Call Michael Vaiden at Blackdog customs in Georgia. He generally has the beat deal. You will need to replace the temp sensor as well to match the new style box.

Any clue if this will work with an 003? My number 3 auxiliary pump died the other day. I am going to need a new one to keep from having to drag fuel to it.

Facebook groups are pretty good. The FB marketplace is ok but you will get a million tire kickers.
Also Steel Soldiers is a great place as well. You have to pay a few bucks but it’s well worth the small outlay.

Make sure that your hand throttle isn’t causing it to bind. If that’s Noel’s it it’s probably at your injection pump.

I would think a 3 phase genset would be a bad fit for what you are trying to do.
For a house and barn many of us are successfully running Mep-803’s and mep-003’s. Unless you have an unusually high demand that quite a bit of overkill and fuel consumption.
