Have you ever made a soldier cry?

The guy found me on Facebook and wrote me a than you: "Just wanted to say thank you, it was great seeing that old thing in its glory, it's been awhile, and the names on the side just goes to show you how much support we have from all of you!" I'm so proud right now. :grd:

Have you ever made a soldier cry?

I've had my deuce for a little over a year, and in that time I've given rides, talked to veterans about it, and even helped with a tornado recovery by hauling 2.5 tons of bottled water to the victims, but today something happened that really hit me and I really don't know how to take it. My...

M35A2 Leans to the Right Always

Wow this thread Is hilarious! On a serious note, on my CJ-5 everything looked the same on it too, but one of the spring hangers was worn out and it caused a big difference. Look at everything real close!

    "occasional" brush truck. Opinions?

Sounds pretty slick to me! Im the local Emergency Manager, and I've thought about putting a little water in the back of my deuce just in case it would be needed. The local FD used to use all deuces and five tons for their brush trucks, but they just have one deuce left, and it goes out on every...

Red flashing light nstead of the buzzer?

I wish... The Freightliner we have has two water temp sensors. One for the gauge, and one for the buzzer/light. We could tell that the buzzer started coming on when the water temp got into operational safe range and obviously the engine wasn't getting hot... After tracking the wiring for the...

Red flashing light nstead of the buzzer?

I'm with hornet. We have a freightliner at work that I was driving once, and the buzzer got stuck. I had to drive it 60 miles with the buzzer going constantly....actually got used to it after 59.9 miles...

List your reason behind your MV

Someone once asked me simply "why??" and I told them "how often do you get to drive a museum piece to work that can go anywhere, scare everyone doing it, and still look awesome when it's done?" ...they didn't have much to say after that...

    Where to find tarp parts?

Hey all, I've searched, so lead me in the right direction if i missed! The tarp on my truck is still in good condition, but its missing a few of the "buckles" (hooks?) that hold the sides of the tarp open when you roll it up, and I was wondering if there is anywhere to get just those? Thanks! Rat

    Refine used motor oil?

I agree with all of you, I think filtering is better, I just wanted to see if there was anyone on here that did it

    Refine used motor oil?

Yeah I also wondered how much it costs to heat it up. I kinda figured it would be cheaper just to go get the stuff at the gas station

    Refine used motor oil?

I was reading a few posts on here about filtering WMO, using a centrifuge, etc. and I got to wondering, why not heat the used oil and distill it like they do in a refinery? SO I googled and came up with this: Converting Used Motor Oil to Diesel - Bob Is The Oil Guy Sounds like it could work...

    Bad head gasket or worse?

I normally put some ATF in the tank when I fill it. I had a thread on this a while ago, and it stopped after that. I thought the coolant was turning brown and milky, but I checked it yesterday and it looks like new. I have some new head gaskets sitting in my garage, I'll change them anyways...
