    Diy, cover your exhaust pipe

I forget occasionally to cap it so I'm going down to tractor supply and get a 4" flapper dealie, and be done with it. Just started the Deuce today and blew chunks, and had to rinse it off real quick, no harm, but the flapper's the ticket.

    DeuceTtranny Problem

This is of-course an exploded view cutaway of another trans, but for what I'm pointing to it will suffice. as the numbers corespond with areas or specific parts.... note that # 8-9-10 and 11 (ie. shift rail) are areas where shavings or crud could prohibit full travel (slideing) in and out of the...

All just guess's Mabe the pivot on the trans snout where the shifter comes out of the trans/floor, ie a retaining pin ? If your getting shifting by manually going through with the top off, and upon replaceing the...

    Dont run into an m35a2

I know a guy down in TJ (Tijuana) who could have it fixed by noon........ Hope the Lady was not hurt, really a bummer for her ..... but this just goes to show, it's imperative to always be on your toes when driving your Deuce. Had the tables been turned and you were the guy at fault and say...

    is 60k to many miles

With the changing out of guages a typical thing in the military along with motors and everything else, whenever there was need, I wouldnt put too much credence on the 'clocked miles'. It's likely they are inacurate.

    Good Deal or Not

Without a title your looking at trouble and alot of hassel. $1800 is cheap enough but if you have to go title hunting or whatever, it's ......a pain. Try doing some searches with 'title' here on the forum, read what these guys went through. The cowl and windshield area look really rough. the bed...

    lugnut removal / installation tip

This is for that scenario. It is best if you can spin the inside (male) stud thimble on tight and then try again, but if not then this 'porkchop' fits the nut and allows you to spin the inside while the outside w/porkchop stays stationary

    In the market, M35A2

^^^^^ What He ^^^ said. It's unlikely that the people here are looking for charity cases as it were to give their 5-6 K Deuces over for 2-2.5 K. But you cant wrong someone for trying. The Hardtop is like a tin foil helmet, not much for safety as such, but more for security, though thats what the...

Well we'v been on the "Made in" part of this discussion recently, many will remember, but never-the-less.....heres my stash of stuff I carry with me and where I got it. I have a socket/breaker/rachet set that goes up to, I think 1 7/8 from HF, it comes in when I break the lugs, also for any big...
