whering good article from a previous post thanks......My thinking/concern is it was said that it was an application for a light duty truck, what a one ton or something? So I'm thinking that with the Deuce a 2 &1/2 ton of course, that with the additional stress of 6x6 ingaged, it will then become...
I did something simmilar, but with much different results. A Silverado 4x4 with honk konkus big tires was in a pond here in NC. in about a foot and a half of water. A place where all the youngsters go to party it up a bit (they actually behave to some extent.....really) The Silverado was up to...
I'd bet the wheel cylinders are do'able again, Id try them with a kit. There is an article with pictures here on SS of the hub flip, pretty detailed as I recall, mabe someone here remembers the post.
Has anyone got a picture of the Deuce jackshaft handy, from a resto or something or frame-off that they could post here. And I understand to tighten the bolts on one, it's advisable to pull the tunnel? and folding seat. Are the bolts that come stock good or would you advise something different...
Your friend no doubt makes quality stuff. Like some of the others, I wouldnt pay 6K for gears. Whats the point? You are bakwards engeneering here, its a dirtbike of trucks, not a road racer.... But mabe someone will bite.
This is off the wall mabe, I like the NDT 900's in the standard configuration for about everything I'v encountered, which includes really sticky mud. Now the front axle was the problem child there, and I might add that was with 40 lbs air, so my thinking for the places I go, to set up the front...
Well ultimatly I read through everything, checked what I have against suggestions and pictures you guys gave, and this is what I finally did.....I re-drilled the arm after taking the arm assembly out of the through-windshield mount. It drilled easy enough with a small pilot hole first. When I...
I'v used the standard stuff ie. WD 40 and Liquid Wrench and still had trouble. Sometimes thats just all there is to it, it's goin'a break. PB Blaster seems to work the best, it absorbs it deepest and quickest and for overnight, if this dosen't get it to break, get out the Smoke Wrench. PB...
If you have a non-dented and near-perfect mushroom, I don't see why that pulled off quiclky and fliped over and put on the intake pipe would not kill the motor instead of having these other things to carry around like a board or ping pong paddleor such. It takes so little time, where hunting...
dittle bravo..... you got that one pegged ! As for A3's aaaa... I 'spose their ok. They have the newer kind of drive train, and I suppose some want that, but then some want a dozen of everything MV. Thats cool, but its not for everyone, nor can everyone afford large collections. But hay... I...
Well where I'm from the age thing works different, and that would be the center star of Orion. I know, hard to believe, and I shouldnt be telling anyone. John Teeter is a friend of mine, from the future, I'm older here, but there him and I are the same quarter....Quarter 1. There are 4 quarters...
I took mine out some couple months ago and power-wire-brushed it and removed all the rust then primed and painted it. That alone was a several hour event. But it did come out real nice. Now I need to cherrie the interior of the hard-top. I imagine an all day job, but will be worth it. A way...
