hi cpf240! i did as you said and it works just fine. i sprayed all the contacts, motor, joints with wd-40 and the interval works again plus the wiper is twice that fast as before. thank you again, for that helpfull advice. regards nico

got a Problem too, when i Switch Off the wiper it freezes in that Position (mostly in the middle of the windshield) would a New wiper Switch fix that Problem or is it a relay defect?
