A couple of red 24 v headlights and Santa could put the reindeer out to pasture if he had that thing.

    Ryno-paint

I was told by the line-x rep that lin-ex is a consistant thickness all over and rino goes on cold and runs just a tad. Makes it thinner on the vertical surfaces and it pools in the lowspots. Rino is softer and will prevent things from sliding better. This also makes it more susceptible to...

    1 month with the Deuce

Sounds like you are taking great of it. At least alot of that stuff is probably a "1 time and its done" type thing. Those boxes do add up after awhile tho. I am all too aware of that.

    after 4days i need help!!!

I agree with Ron and the others that there most likely is a leak that you should see. If the fluid is going somewhere and you can't find a leak to save your life, it could be filling the dustboot on the MC. I have seen this happen before and couldn't figure it out myself, untill it popped like a...

Non "Made In China" parts list.

I don't know anything about these guys CUCV Electric But this paragraph stood out to me. CUCV Electric is also a company that develops custom electrical components. We oversee their design, and then oversee their construction. All of the components we develop are made in the USA At...

Non "Made In China" parts list.

OK, I understand how hard it is (sometimes impossible) to find made in USA parts. This thread is about CUCVs sooo, since I don't have a cucv, I would like to hear some input from those who do. What are your top 5 commonly used parts? Ever find any American made ones? I would just like...

Non "Made In China" parts list.

This looks like a good place to start looking. Made in the USA Auto Parts and Supplies This can be done despite the IRS, Federal Reserve, Labor Unions, the EPA, trial lawyers, and every woman in your family that complains about factory smells when she's old, or "Environmental risks" when she's...

    Hibernation

Not sure if this is an intelligent comment or not, but make sure the jeeps steering isn't locked or can fall into a lock after you start moving. I tow a Samurai behind farm equipment for return transportation. I finally disabled the steering lock so I wouldnt have to leave the key on to tow it.

Pulling tractor with a deuce engine

Pretty cool thread. Since finding out awhile ago that they used a hercules engine in some white tractors, I have kinda been keeping my eye out for a blown up 2-135 White. Be pretty cool to have a multi in one for a chore tractor.

    Parts wanted?????????/

This might sound arrogant or a-hole like to some, but if you can't pay 15 bucks a year to do business on this site, you probably can't afford the parts you need. There is soooo many other ways to get the parts anyway (like white owl for instance) or look on e-bay. Just be thankfull that the site...

Looks like you have your answer already, but here is a thread to check out. I went through this same thing awhile back. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce/10619-kaiser-jeep-am-general.html

Met the former driver of my Deuce

Great story. Let us know if he finds the pocket knife. I got a kick out of the heater kit story. Glad he found his truck. [thumbzup]

Bobbed Deuce Hydraulic or Air Assist steering opinion

I have no experience with either of the 2 options the OP mentioned. After reading this post, I vote for air assist.

Line-X or Rhino Bedliner On Underside of A3 Hood?

My concern would be that the water comes from outside before it can get trapped underneath. Would the liner underneath just help hold and trap water more?

    Blasting Cabinets

Looks like www.tptools.com www.badboyblasters.com and BLAST-IT-ALL® will be where I will be looking. They all appear to make some awesome blasters.

    Blasting Cabinets

Well, I searched and indeed there already was a thread about the subject I am wondering about. This is an old thread, so is there any new opinions and reviews on blasting cabinets out there? I want to add one of these to my shop this year, but know little about what features to look for. All I...
