I had that problem and it was in the plug where the front and rear wiring harness ties together under the rear of the cab on the frame rail. Turn it on and do the old wiggle test with someone else watching
The brake pulsing is more than likely rusty or warped rotors. It will shake the steering wheel when the brakes are applied. Has it been sitting awhile?

Some earlier pictures of mine. I was able to have the fuel tank cleaned and coated then I changed pretty much everything in the fuel system. Good luck with yours and looking forward to seeing some pictures.
Finally got a chance to install a light and keyed ignition on the mule. Been wanting the light for awhile now and wanted to keep it fairly out of the way. I had a light housing and just got the 12 volt replacement of the 24 volt bulb. The key is nice for a little extra security and convenience.
