You would need to match the flow rate. It will be hard to find a cone filter that can flow those numbers and you would be sucking in hot air.

I only see it in my trucks when I stop quick. I always try to plan ahead on my stops and start slowing down before intersections. I noticed it is worse in A2 trucks too. I don't think the transmission was adjusted for the Cummins 8.3L

Seems you have had nothing but bad luck with your truck. I hope you get your rear suspension worked out. You can get the numbers off your bulbs.

There are so many easier ways to make power. I think headers would be a waste of time. I would put on a better air filter, add a lift pump with better fuel filters first.
