This has been a busy week for me. I am almost done putting a Big Cam turbo Cummins in my M936. I found a rebuilt Cummins 290, added a bigger turbo, block heater, dual fuel lines, remote oil filter, rebuilt and turned up the wrecker injection pump, changed oil pans, installed the tranmission...
Working with Glenn and his son made the job easy. Glenn had the underside of the cab painted and ready to go. Great guys. Glenn helped me shoehorn my Big Cam 290 into the A&H Recon shop wrecker.
Sorry, I haven't been on SS much. I mostly post on the FB forums now. I am hoping to bring my M936 with the Turbo big cam to Weare.
I will be in Weare on Thursday to scout trails. I will lead trail rides on Friday and Saturday at noon. Be ready before noon. I will make sure it is announced.
You only need to shocks, this is the way R model smacks did it. It won't be a costly projects to do. I think a lot of you bounce is coming from the sidewall deflection. You need to run higher pressure to get rid of sidewall bounce. I have all my customer run 70 PSI on rear and 90/100 on front...

The Allison transmission in the M939 series trucks can handle the increase in the power. My customer Steve put a 450hp Cummins 400 in his M929 dump truck with 1600's on it. He has been working it for a year now. He did his homework and found that the Allison transmission in our trucks are rated...
I think Supreman is the only one selling the Purest air dyers. I think everyone else is selling just the stock M939 series air dyers. Those work good , but I was very impressed with the newest model.
Buy them from Supreman here on SS he has the original air dyers and the up graded air dyers in the classified. They are new in the box and cheaper then what filters would cost.
