I'm looking to bypass my damaged blower fuse port and though I've read a few examples I would like to document it for anyone else with some pictures.. If this has been done I can't find it.
I guess first I'll need to identify the wires on the back of the fuse block (I remembered that Warthog...
You've been a help, thank you .. I'm looking to buy a M1008 which hopefully I'll find one that has not been molested ... till then I'll steel soldier on to straighten out the M1009
I cleaned up the alternator plug and checked readings whilst the truck was running ... its showing 14.7v so the alternator is working.
I also removed the firewall side of the fuse block and give it a going at with a thin wire brush attachment on a small cordless... some brake cleaner and

Hey Tinstar
Thanks for the comment, can you clarify then that the picture is not the temp sensor but the Hi idle solenoid ? Or are you saying the wiring is for the Hi idle solenoid ?

Hey All
Had a look at the wiring diagram and some of the older threads but just wonder if someone had experience with this exactly
When I turn to start i get the solenoid clunk and often it cranks but as frequently it doesn't
Its Had the doghead relay mod
i've checked the grounding and...
Christianfishn mentioned the same thing above .. here was mine (pink) it had a hair crack in it. It's possible to replace it insitu (with an aluminium one) paying close attention that you loose none of the check valves when you spilt the valve body.. Easy on the bench and you can check the...
I've just had the same problem .. Vac pressure was good to modulator, no major debris in the pan. I decided to rebuild myself and it turned out to be the front accumulator piston $9.
Along with the 2/3 valve this controls the 3rd gear shift.
I did not want to shell out the kind of money for...
