Looking for a trans and t-case for my m818, does anyone know of anything near WI? I found adelmans has the parts I need in OH, but I don't really want to pay for freight if I don't need to.

Need help at Ft. McCoy, please. (w/pics)

Roads aren't too bad (I'm about an hour and a quarter south of Ft. McCoy), we are getting snow right now, supposed to be 1-3". I wish I could help you out, but just moved here, started a new job, and have to work lots (tax season!). Mike is a nice guy to deal with though and I'm sure he would...

    Singles for M919

Re: RE: Singles for M919 Ditto, I did this on an ATV once to flip the rims. I installed a valve stem backwards in the original hole, and drilled a new hole on the other side for the new stem. Or I"ve seen flush mount valve stems for regular truck wheels.

    CDL for M818

So, if your insured, licensed, and registered in a state that does not require a CDL, what happens if you operate it in a state that does require a CDL? To go even further, take the same situation, but your drivers license is issued in the state requiring a CDL?

    drawings of the 5t trans

I went out and quickly measured my trans. It is 30" from the back of the block to where the tailshaft housing bolts to the back of the trans, then I estimated about 6" to the u-joint yoke. So about 36" long. If you go to the roadranger website and look at this PDF...

    drawings of the 5t trans

I had read in a previous topic someone said a 9spd road ranger would fit, and is the same length as the stock trans. I think the trans in my 818 is going bad, when I put it in 5th and push down the throttle the gear stick will violently fling forward, and violently backwards if I get off the...

    M818 history/info and sf/97 question

Much thanks to both of you again, you guys are a great resource to the site. DDoyle: It is confusing, considering my M818 has a reg. number, that seems to have the year of manufacture in the number, where the deuce only has the ID #. medlog: Where might I find a transport sticker? I...

    M809 series Trans air leak

It was easy enough to take apart, and reassemble I may have to try a rebuild kit also, if that doesn't do it, it just might be in the trans. itself.
