Yeah, I've looked at those. After you get it post back on what you think of it. Quality, ease of installation. It's a very good price. I was just too chicken to buy one before getting a review.
Price seems a little high so I would definately use Alfa Heaven as a comparason. This guy's M1008 should look as good as Alphas.
One note if you are new to diesels. The oil WILL be BLACK. That's normal. As mentioned smell is a better judgement of condition.
Look for "modifications." Lots of...
It's just the exterior body. I have other plans for the frame, undercarriage, and interior.
How about the cap? Since it's fiberglass do I need to primer it as well?
As to the paint itself I'm not sure but I do plan to stay away from CARC as I've read about exposure & enviromental concerns...
I'm going to be painting the exterior body of my M1009 and I have no idea How much paint to get. Hopefully a gallon will be more than enough? So a gallon of primer & a gallon of paint?
Thanks
Why? If his brake lines are blown then could be a problem to get to a shop.
And the question for IBEZKUM is, they list different lines? I was planning on SS lines and a swap to a 14BFF. Another possible problem with my plan!
Yep! Taking a chance on the either igniting from the glow plug before the intake valve closes. GREAT BALLS 'O FIRE!
WD-40 works very well though.
I'm going to pull the AC out of the '87 Blazer. It has all the parts.
My problem is I'm planning on a turbo and If I go with a stock turbo I'll have clearance problems to work out. I've heard one solution is to use the firewall parts from an S10.
We'll see when I get there
