I can tell you here in Los Angeles, Kaliban there would be a fit thrown even if it had the required orange tip. Heck, even if it was completely orange!
What do I think? There is nothing wrong with it. Clearly it's not loaded (I can't tell if the bolt is open so I suppose it could have...
I'd suggest 2 antenna mounts side by side just to be sure
For an M1009 I'd also mount it on the tailgate for less of a chance to whack it on something. For those of us who are Belt & Suspenders type maybe look into fabbing up a brace from the inside as well.
You've changed to 12v but do you still have the second Alt? The stock alts are rated at 60 Amps so you may want to throw that second alt back on
Basically you want to either get a larger alt or a separate power system for your stereo.
I'm probably going to go with a bigger alternator...
The newer 6.5 and Duramax are computer controlled so I would say they are not protected. I haven't seen any up close & personal but the pics I've seen for 6.5 HMMV & Duramax CUCV didn't have any noticable shielding.
Of course Aberdeen wasn't allowing inspections
They have to send a Recon Patrol out to find them! They are training for desert deployment. Not that scary jungle stuff
Oh that's easy :D
Look at the window from the outside. At the bottom and in the center of the rubber gasket you'll see a 2" piece or clip. Carefully pry that out and you'll see a gap. Pull the center piece out starting at the gap all the way around the window. Then by working the rubber gasket...
Find a pic of Digital Desert Camo and reproduce that!
Get a huge stack of 4x6 cards. Paint your base color, toss on some cards, paint 2nd color, toss on more cards, paint the third.
Either that or Desert Tiger Stripe
Go BIG!
Yeah, the topper is a fun one! Heavy & bulky. I pulled the bolts and since it's just me I got in the back and literally used my back. I got one side to pop loose and then the other. Then I centered myself for balance and lifted the top and rotated it 90* the next step was to get out and drag it...
I'm looking for specs like PSI / GPH, inlet / outlet size, 12v or 24v. I'm looking to add a electric fuel pump to my M1009 with a 6.5L TD. and thought this would be cheaper than the $100 OEM.
Thanks...
Methinks a conspiracy is afoot!
Tivo records "Overhauled" for me but I haven't got this one yet. I got one titled for the CNN show but it was the F100 Ford show. Then I got the F100 show and it was the F100 show again!
I'm not pleased with Tivo :(
Where are you finding the 12 bolt rims? They seem scarce. I just bought one on eBay. Since I'm the type of guy who likes to have a matching spare I figure it'll be easier (cheaper too!) to get the last 4 as a set.
The OEM electric pump is a Carter. They run $100+. I can't remember if it is self priming or not.
I thought someone might know the PSI / GPH of this pump. I would think it should work but I wanted to be sure. I should also ask if it is 24v or 12v as I'm changing mine to 12v.
Mebe I should ask...
Would this work as a lift pump for a M1008/9?

I want to put an electric pump in mine and looking for a cheap way to do it.
Also is it self...
As for "Great Stuff" foam I don't know if it was the product used but I was told by an insurance claims guy he had done a couple of claims where the homeowner had used too much and it pushed the exterior wood off the frame and bowed as well as cracked the sheetrock on the inside.
The A pillar...
