There is a gear behind the front caver that runs off the rest of the gears behind there. Take air wrench and take the nut off and pull the pulley off change the seal, put it back the way you took it apart. Done.
I rebuilt a spare pump and the one on my 816. I believe that one of the TMs has all the info in. Can't remember which one. There isn't that much to it if you can read and understand what you read. But I believe there are lot's of pictures.
If you don't have a wench or not going to have one take the PTO off get,make palate to cover the hole and that will stop the leak. Or pull the PTO and repair it.
