Bobbed Deuce Weight Distribution Question
I did a search but could not find the answer to this question so forgive me if it is buried someplace, I couldn't find it.
Has anyone weighed their Bobber and know what the weight distribution on the front vs. the rear is on their truck? I am working...
Wow, I wouldn't want to be that stuck in my M38 let alone a Deuce. On the other hand, it might be fun to help if it was someone else's truck.
Best of luck.
I live in the sticks and don't have cable and gave up on satelite TV. Anyone know how long it takes for them to put an episode up on their website. Episode I and II are there but no III.
Is it one of the dual axle trailers? If so, would be interested depending on price. I live in Corunna which isn't too far from Dewitt. May be going to Lansing on Saturday and could stop and look.
I had been thinking about going a different direction and using the truck frame. (as also...
Possible, yes. Easy, no. Several have done it but this is one of the best I have seen.

Very nice. I hope that I can get started on my truck this winter. Have everything but the spring perches which I think I will try to fabricate.
My question is about the seats. Do you know what they came from? Looks like a nice addition to the truck.
I would also like to know what those people who are using a M105 trailer bed on their Bobbed Deuces are doing with the frames and axles when they are done. Are most people selling them for scrap or using them for some other purpose?
I know that I should be asking that question in the Deuce...
I have been wanting to take the bed and hardware off an old 3 yard dump truck on the farm and make a trailer out of it. I was thinking that a M105 frame might make a good starting point and thought about all those M105 beds that are going on Bobbed Deuces. Would the frame/axle/spring off of the...
I was thinking the same thing. It would seem that it would be easy enough to make some spring mounts that would duplicate the stock front mount dimensions out of steel plate if someone didn't want to use the trailer frame method.
Wow, talk about being brain dead. I guess I had Wright Patterson on my mind because I kept hearing it on your cell phone message and it was the only other place I had won anything from.
Thanks for your assistance Andrew. This was my first vehicle related recovery that I have had from GL and...
Sorry about the pics. On my iPhone so not very good quality.
I took the cover off because I thought it might reduce the drag and reduce the chance of damaging it. It did make securing the lights a piece of cake. Magnetic mount to the top of the talgate and duct tape around the post. Also added...
Trailer from Drexel Gardens - Finally
Finally was able to pick up my M105 from auction 5199 back in May. Wasn't expecting to wait this long for the EUC but if finally got here. Met Andrew at Drexel Gardens around noon and was on our way back to Michigan by 1:30. Everything went very smoothly...
