GoHot here, I wil not be bringing my Deuce, instead the BBQ and my Dodge Van. Sounds like parking will be a bit tight and packed, however I will be a single small unit at the 'COOK' area. Looks to be a good turn-out, I'm getting 'antsy' to go.
Thank you Guys........ Recently a member had a post of his Deuce newly painted in Vietnam era color. I wish to do the same this coming month, but still need bows and canvas. The Authentic componants used in that era. I have recieved pm's for offers of covers for sale. Thank you...
Surely some advice can be given as to who is re-producing the best fitting Cargo canvas for the Deuce. As far as fit and the least amount of baggyness. Id prefer it somewhat taunt or form fitting rather than alot that I'v seen that seem to be all bagging and loose fitting. Are there any things...
One of the benefits of these size tires is top speed due to their diamiter ie. one revolution @ distance traveled in feet, verses a 900x20. Of course a 50"+ tire will travel further per revolution than a 900. Given that you have a better top speed, it takes away from lower speeds and the gear...
Just an idea, but you might find parts At places that sell and repair Grout Pumps, you know the pumps that pump concrete on constuction sites from Cement trucks. There were so many variations of motors used in them, so stuff like the govoner and Dist cap and points and cables and etc, etc might...
I like this method best, and yea it could be overcome easily enough, where I live, my horse would signal the intruder to me starting a ruckus. But the whole point is to make it not a quick easy to do fuel swipe. Sure you could weld a nub where the threads and nut come togather so as to make it...
Ok, only partially true So you guys riding on big meats like 14's 15's and the like....Where are you getting them? I supose the regular places such as Boyce Equiptment and the like..... but when you decide to go these routes, are their sources for these tires NEW from some Truck or Tractor Co...
Picture two had me wondering what kind of body mod you had going on with the lights.....Guess I need some glasses these days......I see what it is now, cold weather EQ.
I'v got a burn pile too, my spread is something like yours or simmilar. When the 4th of july comes along I'll torch the pile of my years worth of trees and stuff. I't will make a flame 30 foot high, if anything like last year.
Sheeeessh, thats give-away prices for the paint, good deal! Theres plenty of us content with stock I'm sure, I think some of the Bob's are cool enough, but it don't do much for me, it's just a novelty really, a Mucho-macho thing. It's about just having a Deuce, theres alot of guys dreuling out...
Funny thing, in Vietnam those Guys were 'not' to be messed with, kind of 'Loose Canons'.......... and the trucks were refered to as 'Damn Damn's, in other words they put a dam dam on whatever was in their sights Quite a fiew had 50 cal's. One time I got to unload on a practise shoot at the...
Now theres a great reason to go 'Purist' with the Deuce , how much better is it than this......!!! How much longer did this color get used in Vietnam? and please....give us some #'s on the paint, and what and where's What brand, and where did you locate it, and how much did it take in galons...
Try airing it up, if it leaks it will probably be heard there as you are airing. If so a tube is in order, so dismoint it and install the tube and flap, removing all debree inside the tire caseing and re-assemble, air and there you have a decent spare like papercu says it may not be the same...
