A late posting because I couldn't get to this using my dial up connection. Check out this Thanksgiving message:

Jim, the photos came through fine. Thanks. I saw a truck sailing down the road a few weeks ago with jerry cans mounted on the sides, but couldn't tell how they did it. This might have been the answer. Great idea.

Thanks for the tip on Cornhead Grease ... but you have to admit, it sounds like it should be preceeded by Jeff Foxworthy saying:
"You might be a Red Neck if .... "
ps - Ian welcome to the group - lots of knowledge mixed in with the nonsense. Enjoy!

Does anyone have any experience with the STE/ICE-R vehicle analyzer? Is it worth buying for the M series vehicles? I have an M1009 and will eventually have some other related toys. Any thing problems with them? Any thoughts on a reasonable price?
I tried to download the TMs and of course...
I ran across this last week during my travels. It seems that the Parsippany, NJ VFW post obtained an nice lawn ornament: an M60A3 tank! No one was around, but it was a recent delivery judging by the tracks in the lawn. I'm guessing that it arrived for Veterans Day. Its nice to see some of our...
This one I can blame on you guys!
A short time ago one of the members did a road trip which, of course, involved stopping at every weed covered field containing piles of rusting military metal - aka salvage yards. Soooo, the topic of Pioneer Tool Trailers emerged - new to me. So I asked some...
Without a photo of the vehicle in question this becomes a game like the 3 blind men describing an elephant. At least a decent physical description - support rollers or not (the carrier shown does not have support rollers), number of road wheels, spacing between them - even or not, type of track...
Here is my M1009. I got it registered and it passed NJ state inspection with no problems. The dog informed me that he didn't like the back seat - big dog, not real comfortable seat. So the seat has been removed. Last weekend being Veterans Day weekend I drove the M1009 for 3 days - lots of...
On the positive side, someone spent megabucks on a retired military vehicle - and that is one spoiled truck that will never be a bombing target. Plus, it isn't a low rider with fuzzy dice - after all , it is California!
I checked Army Knowledge Online and found both manuals, but I can't download them with my current access. I have to write these people and find out why. It is very hit or miss on which manuals I can get and not consistent. The same stuff is available through civilian vendors who create CD...
