    Pinion brake?

Found this while trying to find lockers and other rockwell axle parts. https://diy4x.com/product.php?productid=17698 So, how would you get the fluid pressure needed? Is this a viable solution for a parking brake or even possibly as an 'oh #%(&' brake? I figure anything is better than...

    Upgrading/replacing fuel line

The absolute lowest pressure rating on the lowest quality stuff is 300PSI, with most being ~1k PSI.. So even going cheap (which I wouldn't), nothing would prevent me from replacing both the air and fuel lines with AN-10... A 1/2" air line would be a big upgrade, heh. It would also allow me to...

    Upgrading/replacing fuel line

From what I'm seeing in the TM, it appears that the fuel line is 3/8.... Which is equivalent to about a AN-8 line. AN-6 would be 5/16 and AN-8 would be 7/16... Would there be any issue going to an AN-10 line, which is 1/2"? It would seem the increase in diameter would be relatively negligible...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I love the custom work, but would it have been easier/cheaper to get a pre-fabbed box and just add to it? https://www.amazon.com/Safety-Technology-International-STI-EM111103-Protective/dp/B018NQ76ZO

Someone disagrees with you, he articulates his position; and your response is personal attacks that have no foundation or basis in reality? C'mon now. That's not cool.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

'on its own right'.... flag always marches forward... so, stars forward, on the right side of the vehicle, as if you're driving it.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Please don't use wingnut terminals. The proper military terminals are better in every respect, easily available, and inexpensive.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

If it's a permanent modification, I'd look at van bodies. Also, XPS foam is great for insulation, inexpensive, and sturdy enough to use as doors/walls in the proper thickness, for semi-permanent applications.

What have you done to your FMTV or LMTV today

So many people wanna be 'right', they neglect to realize that the objective is to educate and share understanding. A discussion without data/evidence/proof is pretty meaningless. I learned the FMTV lighting system is 12V, when I incorrectly assumed it was 24V like 'everything else', because I...

What have you done to your FMTV or LMTV today

Thanks for the clarification, haven't dived into their lighting circuits... No. LEDs emit light totally differently than incandescent bulbs do. Incandescent bulbs put out light across the visible spectrum, and the filter just blocks other wavelengths. An LED only puts out a narrow spectrum...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I dropped some coin on a 3/4" Milwuakee M18 impact.... Been slowly trying to build my tool collection back up after being homeless for years... Tried it on the deuce lugnuts... zipped them right off... 1400 ft lbs is no slouch, and since it's the ONE KEY, I can go into the app on my phone...

What have you done to your FMTV or LMTV today

Two things. You don't use white LED bulbs behind colored lenses. Those bulbs say they're 12V..... Does the LMTV use 12V wiring for its lighting?
