It is a stand-in for an East Bloc truck
originally we were targeting a Tatra 805 but it also is similar to a UAZ 3303.
Obviously it is not an exact match but most important was to have a non-US and hard to identify at a distance.
Here it is as I got it - very red and no bed.

And the UniMog with some East Germans and Russians trying to look like East Germans (can't let NATO know the Russians are right on the Border)...
I will get some more pics up soon.
The UniMog was a Dry Chemical Fire Truck in Switzerland in its previous life.
The lights will be coming off - just did not have time before EWII.
It has an M105 bed on it. Had a buddy take out the fender wells and do some other mods to it as well.
Once...
Thought I would share a pic or two of my growing motorpool.
2 out of 3 are Russian so figured it can go here.
The UniMog really wants to be Russian (or Czech as a Tatra 805)

I got the thing licensed and titled finally - well almost, I have to have a...
It seems that there are a fair amount of East Bloc vehicle owners in the states.
If you are looking for an opportunity to be able to use them as they were intended - to haul and/or support Soviet troops in the field, I have that for you.
We run an event called East Wind. This is a 9 day full...
Lonesome715 - suppose I could convince you to pull some parts off the UAZs sitting there?
tow hooks, pintle - basic stuff that should be no problem with customs.
Are there a lot of UAZs sitting in that lot or just the one?
Is there a ready supply of UAZ parts at reasonable prices in Finland?
Seems if they are being sold off every year that there might be.
Always on the lookout for good parts sources. I have a pretty good one out of the Ukraine right now but there are a lot of little minor parts that would be...
The yellow one?
I bought the other one that seller had. Still working on getting the thing titled and licensed - have the German title and Bill of Sale but the DMV wants a translated version of the title to do anything.
Could you get any pics? Would be interested in if they are newer...
Just thought I would put something in this forum in case people don't look at the classifieds very much.
