    Horn kit install???

I just got my horn kit and I want to put it in tonight but I have a question. All I have on the steering wheel is a wire with a metal end crimped on it and a spring. I did not get a new metal end. Do I try to pry it off and re-use it or should I cut the wire Install the new guts and splice it...

Don't feel bad. I thought I had a plan to get a 3/4 ton and a 1 1/2 ton trailer in this last sale. No such luck. I applaud you for setting a limit and sticking to it. Nothings worse than getting that invoice Friday and wondering where to sell a kidney so you can pay it on Monday. Hang inn...

My deuce was shipped back from Kuwait?

I agree with contacting the unit. I talked to the guard unit my truck came from and they were happy to hear where it was and had lots of info on it. They want pictures once I get her re-painted.

Deuce not wanting to back up

Finally found the time and the weather to crawl under the deuce and check things out. Sure enough broken spring in the parking brake. If you look at it from the back it's the second one down. Any ideas on where to pick one, or for that matter the whole set of them up. Thanks for the help...

    winch snatch block storage question

Those look pretty neat, I wonder if some of our more talented members could make a set for less than $140.00? The spec says they can carry 400 lbs, although I don't think I would want that much more extra weight past the front axle. Great thread everyone, more storage is on my list of deuce...

    SHUTTER ISLAND The Movie

It can be pretty interesting working with Hollywood types. I rented my Douglas DC-3 out for the movie big fish. Very cool what they can do with a plane sitting in a hanger. Best part (aside from a really healthy payment for our time) was they repainted and remarked our cargo interior when...

Bidders Beware: GL is draining all fluids on trucks

I've picked up two deuces at Ft. Campbell in the last several months, one for me and one for another guy here on the site. Both were full of fluids and fuel. Both trucks came from National Guard units in TN. One was a A2 and one an A3.

M1009 meets Saab - Guess who won?

new cars are crap. I hit a 100 lb deer this winter in my 2002 hundyi elantra doing 35 miles an hour. Totaled the car. Had to finish the deer with my carry gun. At least on the plus side I took the money and bought a cucv.:p Glad everyone was ok.
