Location of the exhaust needs to be higher and I agree with yah it sounds like a 3cy detriot.

Kinda like a sleeper in an old grandpa car looks like a regular vehicle but look under hood and your eyes will get big nice job on the motor you do awsome work on these 10tons.

All you need is 2 batteries that have the same cranking amp I used 2 that were putting out 500 cranking amps each it did good in the duce.

If you want to go with a dsl in it you can try green jim depo think he has a place on ebay for his site. He did have the lds for the 5tons for $1,400 in a can. Ask some of the Florida guys about him.
