I paid $300 for the flatbed and the hoist and the pto system to go with it out of an junkyard I ended up scraping it because I didn't have the truck any more. Junkyards have good deals without braking the bank.
I tried to do a search on this and couldn't find anything on the matter. I like the looks of the M800 and the airbrakes of the M900, what I am asking is instead of putting the airbrake converison on the m800 and spending a chunk of money. I found M900 axles that are cheap but wonder if the axles...
I think a better place for the tire mount if there was room either behind the right front rack or under the trailor bed in the back but have the same mount as the duce to make it easy for anyone to change a tire. Just my 2 cents.
Your Sgt. almost sounds like the Army Sgt. I had talked to that said they were getting reid of their M900 wrecker to get the 7ton oshsk wrecker that Marines are using. I think the Sgt's are getting missed informed.
That motor was also a civilian motor back then to so some parts will carry parts for it other than that there are some guys that sell parts for the gasser in MVM.
