Either GL charged sales tax at time of invoice or if they didn't I paid sales tax at time of application for title according to GL invoice.

That first picture is of what you need to activate your backup lights. Sits on the column shaft near the firewall. They still sell those (NAPA,etc), the little rectangular lights in the back bumper are the blackout lights.

Just get one made. Take the old one so they can reuse the ends. Try a heavy duty truck parts olace (IH,Mack, etc) or a custom shop. In southeast Pa. I've used Associated Truck Parts, price was about $175.00

Had to give $2k for my 83 civilian K30 dually, but it needed a frame (M1010 donor) and a bed, drive train still has been un touched (only 41k) A good running ready to go m1028a2-3 would be a steal at anything under $5000. My 2 cents.

Truckload of dry Sand, Full bed, close to 4000 lbs. Have had 3600lbs of tile in my M1028a1 too, no problem. Handles the load quite well.Also quite a few looks when delivering material to a job site. Positive looks of course. They are quite the conversation piece.

I had that truck running (when we inspected all the trucks for that sale) with the standard CUCV key, so you should be good to go!

Mine too but the year is off by one. Serial # they got correct though. Keep after them. I had an M1009 I bought from GSA that kept coming back rejected through the state. Finally found out that the Forestry Dept had 4 vehicles with the same serial # because who knows why but after a good notary...

Get them retubed, go to a big truck parts dealer/fabricator or:, Kenworth, IH, Peterbuilt, etc. or an aftermarket custom parts supply house that also custom fabs race car parts, etc. Someone in your area should be able to fix you up.

RE: 1028A3 Axle Ratio? M1028a1 does have 4:56s, at least the two I've had did.

M1008a1 should have this NSN # 2320-01-123-2671

they're the same if you get one for 83-84. 85 and up are different.
