I can't remember, but is the relay grounded to the that plate it mounted to? Mine worked , after I replaced the engine to body ground strap at the fire wall replaced. it had kink in it. Then again maybe it was elfs... yet another reason to wear shoes..
I would guess yes, about the heater just because of where live. Maybe consider a second filter (30 micron or so) mount use as primary with heater in it.. it would with water in the fuel and with starting
I had somthing similar, the eight time it happen I went back greased all my connection on the starter and grounds. I also replaced the ground wires from the buss bar to engine and the engine to body. it working well for now....
its is the same harness for civy as it for cucv as far as engine harness. the difference in in the headlight and the charging system and the starting system is what I have seen , I maybe wrong... I to swaped my motor out for civy model motor nothing funky about it other than swaping sending...
Wait a min... Do some research.. I suggest going to the diesel page site and look up the best casting number and what they suggest . The 92 & 93 block for a 6.2 are considered by some a superior block than any 6.5.
I just found the box from 1.5 years ago... I really need to clean up. but your are correct about 350 mounts I belive the pearches and mounts are same for 82 to 83. Mine was a PIA figuring that out with engine out of school bus ect.. took 3 days to get the motor in the truck..
