    M37 parts cross reference?

Went on the web and downloaded the right software so now the parts list works. Thanks a ton guys, this will really help me out. I just wish there was a list like this for the M211.

    M37 parts cross reference?

for some reason I can't access it. I click on open and it doesn't do anything. If I try and save it into word, it is just all computer jibberish. What software did you use when you made the list? Thanks.

    M37 parts cross reference?

Do any of you guys have a list or know of a good place to get current part # cross references? All our site has is M35 stuff and I know that there has to be cheaper places to get things like rebuild kits for master cylinders, fuel pumps, and seals than from MV part suppliers. Even the things...

    M37 carb rebuild kit help?

does anybody have a website or number for ace surplus? I haven't heard of them. That website was really helpful though. Does anybody know anything about the AFLA or NAPCO kits he describes in his article? I have never heard of either of them. Thanks.

    Prelim feeler - Deuce Stencils

I would also be interested in this. I would much rather have stencils than decals myself. Rick does a great job on stencils, but I have 2 deuces and a M37 to do and that is a lot of $$$ in stencils.

    52 xm211

The x is for the experimental phase or testing phase of a vehicle before it is officially adopted by the military. When they do this, they drop the x designation. There really is no difference between the xm211 and the m211. The only thing they might have done is made some minor changes as...

Thought I found a deuce dump truck

I went down there to look at those trucks. I'm not sure what fate they found, but I do know that they were junk. The pics make them look 100x better than they were, they were missing so many parts that it would have taken at least 2 parts trucks to make some of them work. I was going to fix...

    M 211 ???????

I have both the M211 and M135 trucks and love them. They are simple to work on and built very tough. I do also have some gaskets and parts for the trucks if you need them, just drop me an email and let me know what you need and I might have it. Good luck with your project.

    M37 carb rebuild kit help?

Well I decided to rebuild the carb on my M37 because it needs it. Problem is that I have no idea what type of carb I have. I have a 1962 M37B1. The carb is pretty gunky and all I can make out is Ball and Ball made for chrysler. I couldn't find anything that said ETW1 or anything else that...

    Brake bleeding the easy way

I'm sure this has been answered, but is it alright to use DOT 3 on the older trucks like the m211? I have my system pretty well flushed out and the manuals called for hydraulic brake fluid, but I would like to upgrade. Will dot 3 eat seals or anything that are older? I'm not sure what the...

    M37 help

The first thing I did was replace the inline fuel filter and put fresh gas into it. When you crank the engine without the filter in place it sprays fuel at a pretty good pressure, so I know the pump is still good. If i'm right in guessing the oil pressure sensor is on the left side of the...

    M37 help

I just bought my first M37B1. It's a 1962, with 5800 mi on the odometer. Problem is, it doesn't run worth a dang. I can get it to start with the choke, and sometimes it will go for a bit, but as soon as I start to drive she starts to sputter and kill out (usually in the middle of a busy...

HUGE Military Vehicle auction in Nebraska June 29th 2006

I opted not to attend because I was working that day and I didn't get the bank letter of credit crap done in time. I would really like to know what the trailers and some of the M135s brought if anyone knows. Does anybody know what the tulsa winches went for? I'm not sure about that one being...

HUGE Military Vehicle auction in Nebraska June 29th 2006

Disaster with my computer not liking the SS forum. I can't get any of the pics to load on the site. Sorry guys. I did not get a chance to look over that semi trailer, the red m35 is like most other trucks there, rusted and many parts missing. The winches were not too bad, thats probably...

HUGE Military Vehicle auction in Nebraska June 29th 2006

I took my camera there to get pics, found some really neat finds though. I will try and post the pics soon(tuesday hopefully). That place was huge. Over 60 Acres I walked for you guys scouting, lol. The only problems is almost everything there is pure junk, and I mean parted out, rusted...

HUGE Military Vehicle auction in Nebraska June 29th 2006

I'm going down there today to do the public inspection. I'll let you guys know what I find out. I'm going to bid on the GMC G749 series trucks like the dump truck and the truck tractors, the trailers, and the M37s. I know citizen soldier said he was interested in them too. I am planning on...

    M211 brake help

I actually have a complete set of manuals for the truck, but just wanted to know if any of you guys have tips or tricks not found in the manual. I also wanted to avoid any what not to do lessons. Thanks for the tips. One other question I have...did you guys replace all the wheel seals on the...

    M211 brake help

I started to tear into my brakes to inspect and check out the seals and wheel bearings and had some questions. First, there is very light rust in the inside of the housing and on the metal of the brake shoes. Can you paint these areas (excluding the actual brake pad that contacts the drum)...
