Yea, that's the one, got mine during that heat spell a few weeks ago for $89.00 so you got a good deal, mine is still on the floor of my cab. the fluid dampener is $400+, and a waste of money. the Dorman replacement 594-128 will do just fine and probly outlast the truck.[thumbzup]
Did you do the doghead mod? Don't see it in any of your posts. The starter may have run away after the mechanics 50th try at starting it and failed to tell you that part of his story. After you just about empty your wallet on the new starter, do the doghead mod BEFORE you install your new...

The flatbed on my M1031 has plenty of room under it to work with. I deleted the stock in radiator cooler and ran hard lines-3/8 brake line, back under the bed. You can use this cooler with the stock rad cooler, but that cooler is always the same or at a slightly lower temp as...
Thank god the guys were not badly injured, what a shame, it was a sweet truck that was well taken care of. You almost wouldent care if it was a junker.
Oh, no arguments here, in New York the DOT drowns the roads with rock salt and liquid calcium chloride after a few flakes fall, talk about overtime. As I said, my truck was rust free when I purchased it. After one very mild NY winter, a few surface rust spots developed and were delt with as soon...
My friend used the wands supplied by Ziebart. It was a time consuming process. I could see where dealerships would tend to cut corners as the application was not charged on the clock but a one time fee.
Wow, Zebart, thats a blast from the past. My friend worked at a Ford dealership in the early 80s, and I saw him "Zebart" many vehicles, mostly trucks. It looked like plain old cosmolene to me. Applied properly, that stuff seemed to work well.
I put one on mine along with a fan driven cooler. Derale part#259-13090 $45.33 or 259-13091 $89.99 with dash mounted temp guage. I ran mine inline from the pressure or hot side of the trans cooler line, mount the filter base to the right side frame rail, or under the hood if space is a problem...
My M1031 was 99.9% rust free when I purchased it in October of 2011, It looked like it came out of a time capsule. It was repainted by the previous owner and shows no signs of rust repair, bondo, or any panel replacement, nothing. The PO stated it had something like 28K miles on it when he got...
If you are pressed for time, get whatever direct replacement you can locally and use green coolant. I know guys that have replaced the Dexcool in their trucks with aluminum rads before any problems started with no ill results, i just did not want to recomend you use green cooolant in a new...
As Barrman stated above, an alignment shop could check it for you. A good body shop could put it on a frame rig and check it also, they use lazers for straightening frames and unibody vehicles.
