Frequency meters and Load meters are the same for both 002a and 003a generators.
Only difference is if the meters come off a MEP-112A (400Hz) machine.
Verified by looking in the parts manuals for each unit.

Just a last note on the generator's saga.....
N1OTY came down today and we used his CEP spider box, 4 1500W heaters and one 750W hot plate to load test the generator.
So we had 24.4 Amps on one leg, 29.4 amps on the other leg. 120V, 60.4 Hz. 6456 Watts being used...

You did mention the control lever was a little sticky earlier. The solenoid may be retracting properly, but the control lever may not be coming up. It is pulled up by a spring inside...
K-1 won't stay energized unless the motor is running.
You can fool it though. Take the leads off the oil pressure switch, short them together. Then turn the start switch to the start position and release.
K-1 will have energized. The engine thinks it has oil pressure and is not over...
He probably doesn't know about SS.com.
