I think I might be getting a discount because I have never paid itat much. Not too long ago I got a yolk put on a driveshaft for $75 and they did the u-joints.

BFR, did your sprag truck have harder steering? I drove a air shift truck and I can turn it sitting still, my truck is harder to turn, even while moving. I would think its normaly harder to turn but just wondering. Im glad I got a powersteering kit on the way!

Was that a quote from A-1 driveshaft? I thought they were a little cheaper than that. I think they did one of mine for $100 and they replaced both U-joints.

Ok guys, I got a question for you all. I was driving yesterday and some a$$ pulled out on me, than stopped! I was doing 45mph. (roads were dried and salted) and he pulled out of the gas station trying to cross 2 lanes of traffic. Im in my deuce and when I stood on the brakes the fronts locked...

Umm... I dont think anything really EVER " just bolts right in" You might have to mave a bracket, but thats not that bad. As for the cost, im not sure. I hope someone chimes in and can give you the specs. of it.

I would rather use canvas. Make it a soft top, any trim shop-boat cover shop can do it. The trick is getting the canvas. Might have to cut up a duece cargo cover.

I had a friend that built one, it turned out seally cool. It wasent out of a millitary trailer but it still was cool. I think the best thing to do is go get a little 110v miller or hobart mig welder. Make sure that you DO NOT get a gassless mig welder. They are not that fun. :| this way you...
