That is very good work! How much (if you dont mind my asking) does a system like that cost? I am thinking about getting a cargo (preferably M925A2) but would like to make it dump as well. I just like the look of a covered cargo truck.
I'd get in trouble in your state in my cars. We have no "mph roads", except the interstate, and it even varies around where there is a lot of exits. Even on gravel roads in Ohio, the speed limit is 55 unless otherwise posted. Im my cars, I "try" to do 55 but always come upon someone in a car...
Sounds like a cab mount. Dealt with that often. Usually just the rubber has squeezed out/down. Let's hope it isn't the metal brace. If so, however, replacements are abundant. Just a hassle welding it in.
Was this military owned or privately owned? If military owned than that city is a POS! I would move asap to assure no tax money goes into that municipality out of my wallet! How unAmerican!
I finally remembered to change my turn signal flasher. The one on it blinked so fast with the trailer attached that anyone behind me couldn't tell they were blinking if I had the brake on. I just switched with a civy truck I won't be using anymore. Was fine with no trailer.

Thanks for the answers from Europe. For some reason, I have no thanks/thumbs up button on your responses. I was stationed at Eschborn in '84-'86 and drove a 5 ton dump (M817) and got mixed responses as well. Kids loved us then.
Just tell them it is because the Opel is so easy on fuel that what you save using it as your daily driver, you burn in the CUCV. Glad the older folks, at least, like it.
