I'm afraid that Horne Supply and Salvage is a bust due to our "friends" at GL. They used to work in MVs but don't do so anymore due to the elevated prices involved.
We'll see what there is to be had in Buchanan (pronounced "buck-cannon" for you non-locals...) later on...
If you check with Desert Rat and send him some cash before he heads back to Howard's place, he was able to find me the older metal style (not tested/guranteed to work) for less than half that.

And you don't need to go to the trouble (and expense) to heat it and get it all over the kitchen floor like in your first experiment, you lucky duck!
Someone on the forum has converted this manual (TB 746-93-1, "Color and Marking of Military Vehicles, Construction Equipment and Materials Handling Equipment" dated October 1964, Headquarters, Department of the Army) to an Adobe Acrobat file, but my search hasn't turned anything up. I'll...
I've tried searching the forum about alternative sources for door/windshield seals/weather strips without any success.
Might anyone have suggestions for alternate sources for the raw materials for making my own rubber strips? With all the other issues on the truck, I'd have trouble...
