Don't toss them! The brakes are very handy when unhitching, parking on an incline, or loading the trailer without being hitched to a truck. If you don't want them there are many people out there who would.
Here are some pictures of my '83 M925 in the Lancaster Christmas Parade last weekend. As far as I know, I was the only MV, except for possibly one of the boy scout trailers. It looked like it may have been some kind of warehouse/ weapons flatbed, but I couldn't really tell. The parade had great...
That looks really nice! I've had Kilroy on the doors of my M925 for over a year. They're just cheap vinyl stickers from the local graphics shop, even over CARC paint in desert heat and sun they still look good.
I nominate my 1966 M105A2 in it's original strata blue Air Force colors. It came from GL with a civilian set of lights and wiring harness. It looks to have had some kind of equipment bolted in the bed that caused the registration number to change from "K- Military, general purpose" to "X-...
Looks nice! What are your plans for it? From what I've seen if you're planning on selling it, it is better to have it complete with the top and sides. If you're keeping it to use the top and sides are pretty handy to have. I use mine to store and haul bottles and cans to the junk yard, it's much...
I can't help with the transmission problem, but it looks like you got a pretty nice truck! I saw the ad for it and even though it wasn't described right it does look like the previous owner took good care of it. Good luck! :tank:
I finished grading a road with my M925. The skiploader blew a tire and I didn't have time to go get a new one, but the road was still a huge mess. Kilroy the 5 ton to the rescue! A couple passes back and forth over the gravel and it's almost as good as the tractor would have been.
I bought a yard of this material in army green/black. It is a little thinner and the green is a little grayer than the cover, but it worked fine for patch material. I used VLP glue made by Plasti Dip to glue it over the cut and let it sit overnight with weight on it. This morning I put the cover...
I'm pretty sure the truck with the red plow is my truck when it was still in service. When I bought it the winch was in the bed and there had obviously been a plow mounted to the front.
