The numbers 9.00 and 11.00 are in reference to tire width, not height. The difference between the two around is only about 2 inches. All it means is that the front tires will turn 2 inches farther than the rears...the gearing is strong enough that it will force the extra 2 inches..... the front...
The larger tire on the front will mean that they are pulling farther per rotation than the rears.... which from a traction standpoint is a good thing. Most 4x4 farm tractors are geared so the fronts spin at a faster rate than the rears.
Tire size causes problems when you go different sizes...
One of the trucks I just picked up from Frankfort as a pretty steady coolant leak dripping off of the back of the engine. I tried to follow it upwards but can see up far enough to see exactly where it is coming from and cannot see it from the top. It is running down the right side of the engine...
It got down to 17 this morning and my Quick Start would actuate so I tried the propane. It actually works....... I gave it 4 doses and each time I could hear the engine try and hit and on the 5th she fired up. I think if this thing could be adjusted to hold more propane per dose it would work a...
The address on the bill of sale is from GL in AZ....making it an out of state sale:wink:... It is different because it has to have the vin # on it, the invoice does not.
No...just send an email with your vin # and request a bill of sale. They can fax it right to the town clerk and that is what Fayette county needed to issue the temp tags.
I ran into technical difficulty with Fayette county on the temp tag as well.... it was easily solved by requesting a bill of sale from gl on the trucks.
I down load to a Jump Drive and then take it to Staples. They print and bind it for less than $50.00 and it will go with the truck when I sell it. (you can cheapen it up buy reducing all the un-needed pages)
Were does the new engine come in?
No matter what system I am using as long as there is diesel in the fuel tank the engine is getting the same amount of lubrication as it gets every time it is started, with or without ether. Besides my walmart can says that it has a lubricant added to it, as...
Well the propane cylinder fits the quick start valve, but unfortunately it is not cold enough here today to use the system.....
Propane combusts at 500 deg F and ether is 550 deg. the only reason that i think it might not work is that the propane will be a gas and the ether a liquid.
Napa is...
Who has this system on their deuce and where do you buy your replacement cylinders? I have looked at them online and 30.00 seems expensive for a can of ether.
Anybody try using propane instead? The spontaneous combustion point of propane VS ether is only 50 deg difference.
