I use the Carr steps on my 1009 and they are easy to put on. Makes it easy for us old fat guys to get in and out!

A quick way to test to eliminate some items, check your hazards. Do they work? Swap the flasher relay on the fuse box, do they still work? If not, do the blinkers? If so problem solved replace blinker relay. Probably not that easy but you may get lucky.
